Processionals, fanfares and recessionals for commencement. The Majestic Brass Quintet has played Northeastern University’s commencement ceremonies since 1993, when it was first brought in to add something special to the ceremony at which President Bill Clinton spoke.
What we play
A commencement needs music that can carry a long procession and fill a large hall or an open field. The quintet plays processionals as the graduates and faculty enter, fanfares for the big moments of the ceremony, and a recessional to send everyone out celebrating. We play for colleges and universities, private schools and high schools.
