Since 1988 the Majestic Brass Quintet has brought brass music to weddings, graduations, worship and celebrations from Boston to Albany and throughout New England. Founded by trumpeter Eric Berlin at the New England Conservatory of Music, the quintet brings together some of Boston’s finest brass players, who appear regularly with the Boston Symphony, the Boston Pops, the Boston Modern Orchestra Project and more.
What we play for
Weddings
Prelude, processional and recessional music for the ceremony, and lighter fare for the cocktail hour and reception.
Graduations
Processionals, fanfares and recessionals for commencement. The quintet has played Northeastern University’s commencement ceremonies since 1993, when it was first brought in to add something special to the ceremony at which President Bill Clinton spoke.
Churches and holidays
Easter, Christmas and festival services, with organ and choir or on our own. The quintet plays regularly at Marsh Chapel at Boston University, including Easter and its annual Service of Lessons and Carols.
Civic and corporate events
Fanfares and music for dedications, parties and corporate events.
Concerts and schools
Recitals and community concerts, and performances that bring brass music to students.
